Product Support Consultant

We are looking for a Product Support Consultant to support mission-critical finance platforms for lenders and brokers. This client-facing role suits a problem-solver who enjoys digging into technical issues, collaborating with product and engineering, and helping customers get the most from their software.

 

The Role

  • Provide first-class support on proprietary applications and integrated third-party products.

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues, documenting steps in the ticketing system.

  • Collaborate with IT, Engineering, and external vendors to restore service and address root causes.

  • Manage customer upgrades from kick-off through implementation, coordinating internal resources.

  • Execute testing for maintenance releases and hot fixes.

  • Deliver customer training via webinars, on-site sessions, and at user events; support product demos when needed.

  • Create and maintain knowledge base articles and support documentation.

  • Follow security and compliance protocols when accessing customer data.

 

About You

  • 1–3+ years in customer support, software implementation, or financial software support.

  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and clear written and verbal communication.

  • Working knowledge of accounting principles and general business operations; accounting experience is a plus.

  • Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels and thriving in a collaborative team.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and web-based applications; familiarity with Microsoft SQL fundamentals.

  • Bonus: exposure to the leasing or equipment finance lifecycle, Microsoft Dynamics GP, management reporting tools, or customer portals.

  • Organised, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities to deadlines.
