Account Executive
Join an established enterprise finance technology provider supporting lenders and finance organisations across Asset Finance, Equipment Finance and Automotive Finance markets. As an Account Executive for the DACH region, you’ll play a pivotal role in expanding regional market presence by securing net-new clients and developing long-term partnerships.
This role is suited to an experienced SaaS sales professional with strong regional knowledge, who enjoys owning territories, managing complex consultative sales processes and contributing directly to growth strategy.
The Role
- Own the full new business sales lifecycle, from prospecting and pipeline development through to contract close.
- Generate opportunities through outbound activity, networking, industry events and targeted regional campaigns.
- Deliver high-impact product demonstrations and presentations to senior decision-makers.
- Manage complex sales cycles, including RFP-led opportunities where required.
- Collaborate with marketing, product and pre-sales teams to refine messaging and support regional growth initiatives.
- Build relationships with industry associations and regional partners to strengthen market presence.
- Consistently achieve and exceed new business revenue targets and defined KPIs.
- Represent the business at client meetings, trade shows and conferences across the region.
- Capture structured client and market insights to inform product development and roadmap priorities.
- Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management and CRM discipline.
About You
- Strong background in SaaS new business sales within the DACH region.
- Proven success in complex, consultative sales environments, including RFP-based processes.
- Track record of achieving and exceeding new business targets.
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage C-level and senior stakeholders.
- Entrepreneurial, proactive and comfortable building markets from scratch.
- Naturally curious, commercially astute and motivated by continuous learning.
- Fluent in both German and English.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in SaaS business development or Account Executive roles within the DACH region.
- Experience selling into Asset Finance, Financial Services or Accounting markets is advantageous.
- Familiarity with structured sales methodologies such as MEDPICC is beneficial.
- Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience.
