Operations Change / Delivery Analyst (Change Analyst)
Join a specialist asset finance and leasing organisation seeking an Operations Change & Delivery Analyst to drive continuous improvement and controlled change across the Operations function. You’ll translate business needs into clear requirements, coordinate change and UAT, maintain policies and procedures, and provide first-line process and training support — ensuring operational changes are well-defined, tested, adopted, compliant and clearly communicated.
This role sits within Operations and acts as the bridge between Operations and IT, ensuring system and process changes are clearly defined, effectively tested and successfully embedded into operational teams. It carries no day-to-day processing or line management responsibilities — the focus is dedicated to change, delivery and continuous improvement.
The Role
- Facilitate intake and prioritisation of Operations changes, maintaining a transparent backlog.
- Own and maintain a structured change lifecycle for all projects, with clear communications at each stage.
- Facilitate regular change forums with key internal stakeholders, covering prioritisation, UAT briefings and post-implementation reviews.
- Capture and document business requirements (BRDs/user stories) and process maps.
- Act as primary liaison between Operations and IT, ensuring clear translation of business needs into technical requirements and alignment on delivery timelines.
- Own UAT planning, execution and sign-off, ensuring traceability from requirements to tests.
- Coordinate and manage the Operations UAT resource pool, ensuring sufficient capacity is planned and aligned with delivery timelines.
- Coordinate change impact assessments, communications, training and go-live readiness.
- Report on change readiness and the team’s ability to adopt and perform new procedures and tasks.
- Ensure changes are fully embedded into operations, with teams confident in new processes and ways of working.
- Support transition activity from As-Is to To-Be processes.
- Create and maintain policies and SOPs, managing approvals and version control.
- Conduct process audits to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Provide first-line process/training support and drive improvements from recurring queries.
- Act as Operations subject-matter expert on projects, ensuring compliance and operational fit.
- Identify and escalate operational risks, concerns and irregularities to appropriate stakeholders.
