Sales Director – Medical Devices
Our Client is a global medical products and technologies company, with leading market positions in Ostomy care, wound therapeutics, continence, critical care and infusion devices.
Their products provide a range of clinical and economic benefits, including infection prevention, protection of at-risk skin, improved patient outcomes and reduced total cost of care. We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced European Based Sales Director who will report directly to the Board of Directors.This is home office & field based role covering the whole of Europe.
In the role of European Sales Director you will be responsible for the achievement of a portfolio of sales and market penetration achievement across the region, managing local promotional activity, budgets and administration to achieve good return on investment.
You will be responsible for the leadership of an existing team of 7 Territory Sales Managers to deliver sales across the region, ensuring KPIs around call activity, evaluations, audits are met in line with sales strategy. You will be required to develop business plans and take full ownership of all business decisions within the region.
We seek to engage with candidates with an extensive background in medical device or pharmaceutical sales along with previous sales team management experience.
Experience of working within cross functional teams to achieve common objectives along with the demonstrable ability to support, coach and motivate others is essential.
You must have the ability to communicate on all levels and have experience of working with a broad range of NHS personnel. A salary up to £88,000k is on offer, dependent on experience, together with an excellent uncapped bonus.
