Established in the 1980’s our client’s reputation has grown and their client base expanded steadily, as such to assist in their expansion plans we are searching for 2x experienced Diesel Engine Standby Generator – Business Development (Senior) / Sales Manager’s to join their existing team.
Our client provides expertise in the design, planning and implementation of critical power systems across all major market sectors ranging from Retail, Banking, Finance and Energy through to Industrial and Petrochemical. They are also the largest supplier of Data Centre, critical power solutions to the financial sector in the UK.
With two large UK manufacturing and production sites, their project management team offers a wealth of experience in the application of ‘fit for purpose’ power solutions.
Long established partnerships with leading manufacturers, coupled with the in-house expertise of their very own Group in Germany guarantees the very latest in equipment and technology from market leaders.
To succeed in this role, you will be a natural business developer / net-worker of a Senior Sales Management calibre. You will be used to generating your own leads, consult with your own clients and able to source and secure Generator, Genset and Ancillary equipment projects from £ 50k to £3M.
Each project may require different applications of technology dependent on client requirements, it is therefore critical to the success of this role that you demonstrate a solid understanding of the generator application and are able to articulate this into compelling tender documentation in order to secure turnkey projects.
