Resilient is working alongside a software company that specialise investment and wealth management software used by buy-side firms for front, middle and back office purposes. They are well established in central Europe and have plans to become a major force in the UK market by offering superior functionality and flexibility over the competitor systems.

As head of sales, your role will be to work with the head of pre-sales to plan and execute a strategy for growing the UK business. Our client is looking for someone with experience selling complex financial software that can utilise industry knowledge, a strong contact base and a good understanding of financial instruments to drive the company forward.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to join a company that has the proven ability to take market share from major vendors and has plans to make similar moves in the UK. Upon your successes you will be well positioned to progress to running the UK business or to begin a similar assignment to this one in the Asia market. This will suit a candidate who has established themselves as a valuable sales person but who is at a company where career progression is limited.

Their system competes with the likes of CRD, Simcorp, Linedata, Advent and Fidessa Buy Side (Latent Zero) and they are looking for someone with experience selling type of software solution. By offering significantly more flexibility and customisation options, they are able to offer a better value solution that can cater for the front, middle and back office need of any investment management firm.

  • To be considered for this position you must have the following:
  • Complex financial software sales experience
  • 3+ years of sales team management experience
  • Multi asset class understanding
  • Buy side / investment management understanding
  • At least a basic grasp of what this type of technology does
  • Experience devising sales strategies
